Tiny Falls in Early Spring

Today was colder again, after some really mild days, but sunny. I started by mixing several big piles of paint on my pallet. The marks at the top of the painting in the video are samples of the paint I mixed. I put them there to see how they worked together. Oil takes days to dry and I’m really working to find ways to paint details over layers of wet paint without it completely mixing together.
